Cannot install EOS Overlay
How can I make the EOS Overlay in the flatpak version of Heroic?
Made a fresh installation of the flatpak version 2.9.0 of Heroic. I tried to install the EOS Overlay. After I hit the button to install the EOS Overlay, I got the message "The EOS Overlay is being installed...". The logs tell me that the process is aborted close after, but heroic stays in its state forever, and I have to forcefully kill heroic to cancel the not working installation.

same here cant install it
it installs fine on 2.8.0 some change must of broke it
Found the issue, although the nature of it makes me wonder why nothing else is broken because of it
Edit: A-ha, seems like it's a race condition

@CommandMC thank you for your investigation. I made a bug report here, https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/HeroicGamesLauncher/issues/2916. With the help of @arieljuod I found a workaround until a fix is released.

hello, i followed the workaround, eos installs but when im trying to install the eosinstaller.exe on fall guys as the missing files guide suggest, i get this message without the installer ever poppin up

that happens for me even on the older version if you end something along the lines of crprocess in the app list thats running on your system then i think it should proceed after
