Questions about F1-8X V2 PCBs

So kind of confused about which PCB I should be getting for the F1-8X V2. If I get a Hiney PCB, I would need to get a fly db and jst to molex connector, right? But they aren't compatible with the plateless kits, so I would need to get a Galatea PCB if I want plateless compat. Am I able to just drop a Galatea PCB in without breaking off the USB, or would I have to break it off and solder on a JST?
Solution:
you can just drop it in without breaking the usb

Oh okay, but if I choose to use a Hiney PCB, I would connect the fly db to the case and use a jst-molex cable?

F1v2 supports h87 compatible pcb’s with and without jst. If the pcb you want has a usb already on and no jst, it doesn’t need a db. For example, the hiney h87nu has no usb and needs the db. All the Galatea pcb’s don’t use the db.

Yes, it is compatible. It also depends if you go WKL or WK.

As mentioned, it is compatible. The one in your picture will only work with winkey.

How does that work Can’t you just not put the switches in Or is it 6.25u only

6.25 only

The reason is because of bottom row layout. WKL will only allow 7u.
