Should you tuck a shirt into drawstring trousers?

Drawstring trousers seem a lot more popular these days but I've always felt like it would be odd to tuck your shirt into one, and because of that I have stayed away. Generally I'd say no. They're definitely a much more casual style, if I was going to tuck I'd go for a billowy tuck that hangs down over the waistband
