using Pico adxl too.

Im currently having issues with my adxl wire lenght. its far too long (200mm vcore... still too long apparently). Would I be able to use my pico usb tool instead, it has a much shorter wire to the adxl. ??

I have my adxl on my 400. The adxl are very sensitive to electrical interference. Either use shielded cable or use one of the twisted pair of for signal and the other to ground in a cat5/6 cable

this makes sense. ive been using some cheap flexible cable. (it works with my adxl343) but my new 345 doesnt. although the 343 is an adafruit one so ill assume its been binned for such issues before they sell them.

Don't use the adafruit one. It has been configured to only allow the slow speed for communication and thus is too slow for our needs. Use the cheap adxl you find off Amazon or AliExpress

ive been using the adafruit one for a year and a half now. only reason i swapped to a cheap one was so i didnt need to go mod the eva to fit the adafruit screw spacing. it is fine, never had issues with it. might be more case by case tho.

I think you're the first one to ever get it to work. So many people here have reported issues with it

lol i actaully got it to work on 2 different boards i assume two different boards because the first one was purple pcb, the second one was black pcb i even got it to work with the stemma qt @blacksmithforlife thanks for the tip, i got the braided cat 5e working at a much longer length. lol i braided the gnd and vcc into the signal wires, was really annoyed after 10 minutes of braiding thinking fuck thats gonna be bad. but it works lol.
