BG3 does not properly install
BG3 on steam deck installs to about 35 percent via GoG at which point it changes to being done.
It leaves a whole host of empty files etc and he game and launcher do not even start.
Any help would be appreciated as I do not really want to use Lutris.

Mine installation stopped somewhere in the middle too. Then I selected "force update if available" and it finished installation. Had to install dotnet desktop runtime 6 via winetrics, because otherwise Larian launcher doesn't work. After that everything except cloud saves work.
Correction:Cloud saves work, but you have to login to Larian account every time you launch the game

you probably have wine prefix in inaccessible location
make sure it's somewhere in /home/deck/Heroic/Games/Prefixes

Mine game is installed in /home/deck/Games/Heroic/Baldurs Gate 3 and prefix is in/home/deck/Games/Heroic/Prefixes

on the latest commit details there is the check mark that expands the builds, download Linux build extract it, make sure to mark it as executable, select it in Heroic advanced settings

Changed gogdl to lastest commit. Still have to login to Larian account everytime I open the game if I want cloud saves. Should I change my prefixes directory? You mentioned that it should be in .../Heroic/Games and mine is in .../Games/Heroic

I'll test it myself soon, verifying game files might be good idea, also maybe check gogdl log in

I also cannot upload logs due to file size
And for reference you can still do multiplayer via direct connect as long as you select the option so it’s not the end of the world
