Excessive space usage
Hi, my iCloud Photo library (fully downloaded) is around 340 GB. I'm not roughly halfway done uploading (cca 25k out of 50k) but the Immich database already takes over 300 GB. What gives?

Hello, generated thumbnail and encoding videos
any ballpark what can I expect? I run this on Proxmox and I need to reallocate more space to Immich
also video transcoding is disabled. Is it really 60 gigs of thumbnails?
probably not, you can check the size of the generated directory
depends on how many videos has been uploaded as well
according to ncdu util /media is 276 gigs. ah, i see, Immich is reporting the whole volume it resides on

You can go admin > server stats for actual usage of your uploaded media
Does that stat include encoded video storage as well?
No it is not just the raw files
