Baldur's Gate 3 Not Installing Properly
I'm attempting to install BG3 from GoG on my Steam Deck. I have the launcher working (installed dotnet) but the launcher says there's a files mismatch. I know the mismatch is coming from a series of "Game.pak.tmp" files (numbered, for example
Game.pak.tmp1, Game.pak.tmp2 and so on).
I have reinstalled, updated, verified/repaired and these files are always downloaded and never merged into the Game.pak file. I'm not sure what else to try here.10 Replies

Been having similar issues, tried this, now clicking repair leads to an immediate "repair failed error" popup

it could be gog issue
checksum mismatch happens only when downloaded data is invalid

hmm i can try it later. i just ended up copying the Game.pak from my windows version of the game

i have the same problem with
VirtualTextures.pak.tmp261 and no install i could copy the file from, is there anything i could do?
complete reinstall didnt help
