Any good sales going on right now?

Lots of end of the summer sales I feel like, but I'm a bit overwhelmed on where to start looking. Anyone been able to pick up anything good / see a current sale that caught their eye?

What are you looking for? Almost every site is on sale.

hah, fair question. I'm looking pretty broad, but focusing on quality vs. fashion. 1. Shoes -- not sneakers, but not heavy duty boots. Chukkas, loafers, etc. 2. Outerwear -- something good for the fall and the transition to winter, anything from blazers to bombers to puffers to trenchcoats, etc. 3. Essentials -- been struggling to find solid basics like tees, henleys, etc. 4. Pants -- been trying to slowly upgrade my pants, looking for smart casual 5. Anything else that in your mind is a particularly 'good' sale, some great deals on good quality stuff

That's really broad and nearly everywhere is reaching the tail end of sale season. Do you have budgets in mind? Mr Porter, End and Ssense have a bewildering variety of items on sale from classics to high end designer.

hah, yeah, Mr. Porter has been pretty overwhelming for me -- my budget for most things has been in the $200-$250 range and below for a single garment, so brands like Todd Snyder, Nudie Jeans, Allen Edmonds (on sale), Industry of All Nations, Red Wings, Portuguese Flannel, etc.

pretty picked over at this point, but canoe club has some pretty good discounts on similar brands. there's also no man walks alone

ooooo, I've been really digging no man walks alone, but don't own anything from the brand yet

They're not a brand, they stock a bunch of brands similar to what you're looking for

If you're wondering where to start looking, I'd look for the options which are much better non thrifted. Probably shoes and oxford shirts
My suggestion is highly to know the product you want first and then watch when the sale happens

that's basically the opposite of how I've been shopping -- I'm newer to things and am looking for just as much inspiration through browsing as pinpointing exactly what I want

I think there's a happy medium. You want to avoid buying something just because it's on sale -- especially if you're still finding your style. But if something you like is on sale, that's great.
