Winter coat (down or alternative filled) recommendations?
Budget is $800, preferably less. Something in the vein of Canada Goose but without the price. Something that I can throw on with not much more than a t-shirt underneath and be ready to go. Something that works decently well with a technical or streetwear look but also "yes it's date night but it's cold AF out and this is my warm coat."
I'm in Chicago (so not uncommon to hit 0° F for a few days) and have mostly gotten by with layering shirts and wool sweaters under a wool overcoat but want a little more flexibility.
