I think from this log that I need to install d3dx9_43 through winetrix (i'm guessing 43 since it's the most up to date) but it could also be d3dcompiler_47. As I'm trying to read these logs more efficiently, how can I tell if I'm right?

Try first d3dx9 if this is not working install the other. Maybe try every library seperatly and also maybe together?
