Cannot Launch SBCG4AP

Regardless of what I try, Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People (GoG version) refuses to launch. All I've managed to get is an error window claiming the installation couldn't be found, which is not corroborated by logs so far as I can tell.

I disabled Esynch and Fsynch due to a report on SteamDB claiming those make the game crash. Even before I did this, the game was not starting.

Ah, my mistake. The list showed the one I used as the most recent. I had to manually refresh the list to get newer ones to show up.

Just in case anyone comes here looking for a solution, I haven't managed to get the game working through Heroic, but I have with PlayOnLinux. GOG lets you download an offline installer for games, and it seems to work fine, all the way to launching the actual episodes. Until some solution is found for Heroic compatibility, that may be a good option.
