Galatea CEM3 PCB doesn’t fit F1 plateless kit
I got a Galatea CEM3 PCB (1.6mm) last year August and was planning to use it with the F1 plateless kit. Was about to build it this weekend and realized that the PCB is too thick to fit into the plateless kit. I’ve also tested the plateless kit on a hiney 1.6mm and it works. Is that expected?

Thanks for the info! I feel like the listing should have this stated upfront..
Sorry I'm not in my work. I will check it tomorrow
Thanks Geon! Looking forward to hear from you
Can you show me the Plateless kit?
There are an old and a new one, and the old one is a little tighter than new one
Sure, will share some pics when I get home. These were purchased in March 2022 on the Naver store via a proxy.
I’ve attached some pics here
I see Thanks
Do you have any other 1.6mm PCB?
If yes make sure it fit with other 1.6mm PCB. If it doesn't, I'll send you a new one.
Yes, it works on my other 1.6mm PCBs. I think it’s an issue with the Galatea CEM3 red PCB. The thickness of the PCB is not to spec.
oh
Do you have a caliper?
Yes, I do, but not a digital one
Its okay
Let me try to take a pic of it measuring the PCB
If you take a pic I can read it
Sure, let me take a pic now
1.8mm
so thick
Yeah, not to spec
V1.2 2022
It looks like the ink is too much applied on the PCB
If you can grind it down a bit and use it like someone mentioned, I would recommend doing that. If the PCB becomes unusable, I'll send you a new one.
I tried that too
Somehow it still won’t fit
Could be that the substrate itself is too thick
I see
I will check all the PCB and let you know
Can you send me your order number via Store@geon.works?
Sure, I can do that. Thanks Geon
