Deciding between two wedding ties
My wedding is coming up and I'm choosing between two ties to go with a navy suit (slight red undertones in the fabric) and a white shirt. I'll be wearing a white boutonniere with a bit of greenery in it.
This is the tie I'm leaning towards: https://dion1967.com/collections/contemporary/products/k39532-400?variant=44354062942454. Our wedding won't be too heavily color-themed, but we are gravitating towards olive green as a soft theme, so the mint shade of this tie fits in decently. I also love the pattern.
This is the other I'm considering: https://dion1967.com/collections/contemporary/products/g32533-400. The reason I'm torn is I think this one complements the suit ever so slightly more. However, I'm not sure it gives me the vibes of "wedding tie" quite as much as the first.
Looking for opinions here! I'm including two pictures of the tie in person next to the suit I'll be wearing.

I think they both look very nice. I personally prefer the first one because the second looks more "business" than "wedding" to me.
Congrats on your wedding!
I don't necessarily think one is better than the other. The green one may be more on theme, which has both upsides and downsides. The reddish one is a bit busy but likely resolves well, but feels like it has a significant undertone of blue matching the suit more than I like. Overall no clear winner in my book. Both are fine.
Congrats!
I agree that the red tie is more of a business tie, but I also think that its smaller texture makes it more refined than the green tie. Gun to my head, I'd go with the green, but I think the pattern is a little garish/informal for one's own wedding.
Thanks all! I really do love the pattern on the green, and I think I’ll probably go that way. Appreciate the thoughts
