GTA V stuck on installing directx
using Proton ge latest ,i imported gta v after updating it from lutris's epic games launcher.
Now its just stuck like this.

This is an Nvidia driver bug
If you use amd/Intel and have the Nvidia drivers installed you will experience the bug as well

uh i fixed it by terminating dxsetup.exe in monitor
it works now

Yes that's the way to fix it
But underlying issue is caused by Nvidia
