Android App delete
Hi . Where does immich safe data on the android phone. because if i delete the app and install it again all settings are restored but i want to complete start new

i intalled immich on a ne server and now after install the app again all settings are saved and restores and it do not upload any photos only new one
Aren't your old photos already on the server?
no because i started from scratch

yes it shows 78 at all but i have over 1000 photos in this folder

I have a similar bug actually. You can see it in my screenshot.
The issue isn't that you reinstalled the app, the issue is somewhere on the server. I don't think I know enough to solve this but let me try
now the app says -56
And the web gallery doesn't show photos?
Or only shows a few new photos?
the web gallery only shows 76 photos which are uploaded
the rest about 1000 fail
but i istalled the server complete new on a new machine
The checking for duplicates should be done on the server side though
I'm trying to see if there is anything weird in the code

Yeah you're right, it did keep settings
The log has stuff from further back than today
Unless the log is stored on the server this is weird
did you automatically login?
When you reinstalled? I'm new to the codebase
no i had to login again
Check out if you have something on android settings called "backup and reset" and if you have an automatic restore option there under the google account
I don't actually know if immich does this, but with google play services can backup your "settings" location from an app, and auto restore it. I think I'm going to leave this for someone else since I don't know the codebase

i have it . reinstalled the app and then under the app settings delete the cache and all data . now it uploads all photos
