No matter how advanced you are in your Minecraft world, ladders are slow. Eventhough the sole purpose of ladders is to allow you to climb vertical heights, it is rarely used for that purpose because of how slow the climb is. Most players tend to go with faster alternatives like soulsand water elevators. But there are a few players that like to keep up with the aesthetic of their builds.
For those who still want to use ladders to climb vertical heights, this will be simply a very helpful feature
Ladders are slightly tweaked to improve your laddering experience:
- Right clicking a ladder with another one will place it, allowing you to drop ladders down without risking falling to your death.
- Shift+right clicking any end of ladder will allow you to reach the another end, resulting in quick climb
Note :- By right clicking a ladder with another one, you can even create floating ladders without any supporting blocks behind them
