lods between detail boundaries not rendering correctly 1.20

as in the picture there are multiple of those square angle gaps on the outside and smooth (rounded) inside, using different presets show different gaps, i know i loaded them all as they will show up from different distances and angles. i think i broke some settings, or the lods are not loading properly. they seem to be at the boundary of different detail or so the debug shows them to be. happens at all the boundaries high-medium medium-low ecc any help? it's multiplayer decent machine 8 cores amd cpu 64GB ram 8GB vram amd gpu linux , fabric 1.20mod from the link on this discord a few days old (less than a week)
