VC3.1 + Enclosure 2.0 Belt Tension & Shaper Graphs
I finally got around to doing the decouple + FMMM mod along with replacing the PETG printed parts with some Polymaker ToughPC.
I’m looking to get my belt tension sorted now
(I wasn’t familiar w/ this prior to the rebuild).
However, I don’t really know how to interpret the graphs.
Attached is my belt graph for feedback.

What command to use to get this graph?thanks
I have Adxl attached already
Built in script on the dashboard

thank you so much for interpreting the graphs first you need both belts curves look similar along the frquencies seams you got the blue one resonate too much at 125 hz , I think is ok but the brown one is tensioned more so it is resonance not showing the in the test frquencies range
It is much higher
I’m going to take a look at the lower belt in the AM and and pay attention to when it’s running the script to see if I can find anything noticeable (currently 3:46am my time lol).
Both curves look fairly similar up until 125
Does this ideal belt tension graph apply to all v-cores or should a 500mm look a little different?

I ran an X Shaper Graph for the heck of it but I'm really trying to focus on equal belt tension and making sure my gantry doesn't rack in the process.
Your aiming for 2 peaks where the upper and lower tensions match each other
Looking nice, there is room for improvement but yeah that's looking nice so far, a 500mm is not going to get super high accels compared to smaller printer but 9k is good what's your y accel
ADXL is temp mounted at the moment.
However, I’m thinking about running it thru the cable chain.
Y isn’t great at all, I’ll grab the graph in a second.
I might end up reprinting the EVA carriage parts with a 0.4mm nozzle instead of the 0.6mm (@ .24mm layer height) and seeing if that will help.
I'm waiting on the BRS AWD Kit to come in and I'm going to order some genuine Gates high temp belts to go along with it.

My latest attempt at trying to get my belts tensioned properly.
The peak at 125hz is probably the cable chain, that is also why your accel value is at 3.9k it's alot of weight, but the other two peaks are close. Have you tried using the spectroid app to get the belts tensioned at the same Hz value?

Or this little beauty
Helps get you close, print two place one on each belt and try and aim for the middle of the dial
I have not tried the app yet but I’ll go ahead and give it a shot along with the tension gauge! I appreciate the insight and advice! Thanks @mr.robot7392
@mr.robot7392 I think I’m gonna run the belt tension script again and hold the cable chain when it hits around 100hz or so
