Spier & Mackay buttoning point

Does Spier & Mackay tend to place the buttoning point of their jackets high or low? For reference, on a 32-inch-long jacket I'm usually looking for a buttoning point at around 13.5 inches from the bottom (which is usually in-line with the cut of vintage suits). Also, if you have experience with Spier & Mackay, particularly size 42, would you generally say the fit is good? Any issues with sleeve pitch, armscye, etc.?

I’ve never measured the buttoning point but it feels like it’s in a pretty good spot. The main thing to know about Spier’s jacket fits is they come in two cuts: slim and slimmer.
