Fortnite "supports selective downloads" error
Hey, I am importing my old Fortnite Install, however when doing the update I am receiving an error:

Download the newest version of Legendary from their releases page, then specify it as an alternative binary in Heroic's advanced settings

That seemed to have let me repair and update, however it isn't downloading the update
I launch and it's telling me an update is required
Restarting Heroic should make it detect that an update is required
If that's not happening:
- Please send in the files
C:\Users\Faaris\AppData\Roaming\heroic\legendaryConfig\legendary\installed.json
and C:\Users\Faaris\AppData\Roaming\heroic\legendaryConfig\legendary\assets.json
- There is a "Force Update if available" option in the 3-dot menu on the game page, that should do itexotic-emeraldOP•2y ago

Oh hang on, is the game telling you that you need to update?

yup
I launch and in fortnite it tells me an update is required to play
Seems like it's the latest version according to the metadata (which makes sense, since Heroic has no way of knowing what version a game is on when you import it)
You'd need the "Verify & Repair" option in that same menu then
(I'm not sure if that pending update might complicate things though; restarting Heroic should get rid of that)

Verify and Repair completes instantly
I ended up importing files in legendary, and doing a manual verify and repair via cmd. I then copied the legendary config to the heroic legendary config location
