Osaka Simulator

I'm trying to get Osaka Simulator (also known as Ayumu Kasuga's Mail Order Life) to run on Steam Deck, but it just gives this error. What should I do to fix it and (hopefully, if possible) get it to boot?

but my guess would be possibly that heroic doesnt have permissions to the game folder, use flat seal to grant it

I just gave Heroic permission to all system files, all system libraries, executables and statistic data, all system configurations, and all user files, as well as added the folder I keep all my non-steam games in

yeah the game is sideloaded. it's a fan game for Azumanga Daioh, pretty ancient.

i dont really use flatpak so i cant speak to what to do with flat seal, i would really, just give access to the game folder tho.. you dont really want to open the permissions up like that otherwise
