Possible to remove a single problematic file from being uploaded?
I have a single problematic 17 minute .mov file that is just not uploading properly, it restarts, backtracks (I just saw it go from 7% to 4% back to 7% as I write this) and is just holding up the rest of my phone (iphone 12) from being backed up to my server (Unraid using dockercompose method) Is there a way I can unblock my situation by telling it to JUST not upload this one image? (I'd also happily open a github issue if it seems appropriate)

Hello, you can create an album on iOS native gallery viewer with the name of “do not upload” then in the album selection for upload in Immich, you can exclude this album by double tap on it
It appears that while it is now in my “do not upload” album, it is also in an album that is being uploaded, “recent” which as far as I can tell, is just the entire photo album. Is there a clean way to remove it from that?
Annnddd I think I just deleted it by accident (worry not, I have a redundant backup! Immich was quite clear to not use it as it’s only backup)
Note to those in this boat “delete from album” if it’s your main photo album, if you have it in another album too, it won’t matter.
exclude the album "do not upload" will "exclude" it from the recent album
Ohhhhh, “not included” is different than “explicitly excluded”
Gotcha
yeah excluded album will have the red color
so any photos/videos in that excluded album will not be included
