Hiney87 hotswap PCB help
Hello, I have been tearing my head out the past 4 hours trying to resolve this issue.
Similar to most users, went to VIA and got the "Fetching V2 definition failed" message on VIA (I just want to remap keys on my keyboard...)
Read that we need to flash the PCB and use a JSON file for it to work.
Downloaded QMK here - https://github.com/qmk/qmk_toolbox/releases/tag/0.2.2
Followed the steps here - https://geon.works/pages/hiney-h87nu-h-install-firmware-and-keymapping
....but I keep getting the attached error in QMK no matter how many times I try
Keyboard unable to be detected by PC at all
Would appreciate if anyone had any solutions, really love my GEON but this has been a very frustrating experience

Managed to flash the PCB however am now stuck with the VIA part.
Downloaded and uploaded the .JSON file (h87_g2_UPDATE.json) but everytime it happens, I receive this error and am unable to configure.
Would you be able to advise? Thanks!!

I think the firmware file is wrong, could you please re-download the firmware file and do it slowly from the beginning?
oh no, are these the correct firmware and .JSON file? Taken from the link that you provided...
