How to install Immich without docker/portainer?
Is it possible to install without using docker/portainer? As I don't use either.

It’s technically possible if you follow each Dockerfile’s instructions (although you might need to make some changes depending on distro), but it’s likely to break from release to release as the dependencies we use change. The support we can offer when something breaks is likewise more limited since there are too many variables.
I strongly suggest using containers as they’re much easier to set up and maintain.
