I have Wayland KDE Plasma on Nvidia working smoothly for everything except for Wine, which does not yet have native Wayland support, so it's still using XWayland. @Linguin suggested in #-gaming using gamescope as a wrapper for launching Wine games from Heroic, which I have tried with A Hat In Time, and it causes the game to display just a black window. I have tried with no gamescope options,
--fullscreen
--fullscreen
, and
--borderless
--borderless
. Is there anything else I can try to mitigate the screen tearing until native Wayland support reaches the Wine-GE builds?
