Save Files Missing After Changing Wine Version

So I was playing Yakuza Kiwami 2 on GoG when I changed my wine version from the default to GE, and now my save files are gone in-game. The files are still there (I think) but downloading the synced saves hasn't done anything to get them back.

Are you sure you've changed from Wine Staging to Wine-GE? In that case I'm not sure what the issue is, the prefix architecture doesn't change when doing that
If you switched to GE-Proton on the other hand, your save files will be somewhere in /path/to/prefix/drive_c/path/to/prefix/drive_c, while the game will now run in /path/to/prefix/pfx/drive_c/path/to/prefix/pfx/drive_c

Because it is called protonup and not wineup. Just install wine-ge from our wine manager

Proton up will install proton ge.It was created for proton ge at first. Maybe they provide wine-ge aswell.

Currently it is called wine-ge-proton, while proton-ge is just proton-ge
