Any good quality shoe/boot brands that have a sorta chunky look to them
Something like high platforms but not too high? I know that Dr Martens exist but I head their quality was bad, I also looked at solovair but I did not really find something that has a chunky sole look to it. Ive seen ones when googling it but its fast fashion ones where the brand isnt known for making shoes so I doubt the quality is good, like H&M

Tbh DMs are fine for what they are. Everyone always complain about quality declining in everything nowadays
I got their chelsea dealer boots and like not noticably chunky tho

First thing is to not to wear the same shoes straight a couple days. This allows time for them to rest and air out. Your feet sweat. Lots of moisture cab degrade shoes over time
Second thing is most dedicated shoe brands' shoes will be fine. On average. If you get a dud you're just statistically unlucky.
pfffft thats one way of looking at it and yeah I should prolly not wear the same shoes all the time thats actually pretty good advice now that I think about it
Shoe rotation helps a lot
I don't remember ever reading about a brand where no one said that it used to be better
Docs shouldn't break after a year
If you rotate and treat them properly you'll get several years out of them
