could you use wine-ge and you are using heroic 2.9.0 not 2.9.2 :CatYeah: please update since 2.9.0 is a broken release

yeah it's the same with wine

yeah but proton logs have nothing useful in them to debug the issue, they store logs in their own special location that's why im asking to send a wine log

radv 23.1.6 has bugs latest on flatpak is 23.1.7 wonder why that didn't update, that's actually really strange

I think your problem with stutter is more like a problem with setting to high graphic settings and not caping fps to like 30-40

why is the playtime and save syncs not working tho, that's the more interesting part

For me Witcher 3 was running fine on steam deck after a little bit of tweaking the graphics I don't know. Probably messed up prefix. I would recommend removing the prefix folder and just create a fresh one with wine-ge. Also disable steam runtime.

I have tried to unistall and reinstall the game and recreated the prefix. When launch trought the launcher the saves sync correctly when I launch from steam in game mode on steam deck, don't sync So I found, for some reason, that only when started in Directx11 mode it stutters, in DX12 don't. In the Witcher 3 GOG version on steam deck I have hard stuttering when visiting new areas caused by shaders compilation (In steam version I don't have this issue) also tested the game in my second partition with Windows 11 and have same problem with stutters. But when launch the game trought DirectX 12, the stutters are gone. There is a tecnical explanation to this? I have tried both wine-ge and proton-ge

yeah there is a techinical explanation and I won't go into it, since this issue should no longer apply if I remember correctly you were using flatpak and radv 23.1.6 which has known bugs once the flatpak is updated you should see stutters going away on both dx11 and dx12
