Albums - Sorting by Most Recent Photo

There appears to be some form of bug when it comes to sorting on albums. I've sorted my albums by 'Most Recent Photo' which theoretically should sort them by the event which happened most recently to the least recent event. In the case of my setup, the dates are correctly set and the album displays the correct dates when clicked into but they are sorted seemingly at random. See my image for an idea of how my albums are sorted. FYI, after the album from 2021, there is another from 2023...
