First glance says it's solid. I'll try to look more later, in a bit of a rush
Yeah it's kind of looking like an extended shoulder but there is nothing at all wrong about an extended shoulder unless you don't like it
There's a little bit of oddity in the upper arms on the side views, but I suspect a good yank down might improve it, and if not, a fresh press. Nothing that looks to me like the sleeve is wrong for you, again at first blush. Chest looks decent, a bit of slightly oddly shaped drape and a bit of a low armhole in a way that isn't my absolute favorite, but it's only nitpicking when I look really really closely and I guarantee I have a jacket or two that has a lot more of that going on :P The button stance is okay, maybe an inch higher than it could be, but again it's fine. Not pulling. Visibly doing a little bit of work. It's possible that an extra half inch in the waist improves chest drape, unsure, ask a real tailor. Would like to see it worn with a proper shirt.
Overall I'd say it's good as is, solid, will do a good job. With a proper shirt maybe we will see it benefits from a 1/2" shorter sleeve, maybe not.
So, good buy.
Sweet! Glad it's mostly good! About the extended shoulder, do you know if that's the kind of thing easy to fix? I definitely prefer a more natural shoulder as mine are pretty broad to begin with.
I'm definitely gonna add a bit more in the waist. Just gotta find a good tailor now!
Really appreciate the thoughtful commentary!
No way to change an extended shoulder to a more natural softer shoulder without re-cutting. Not worth it in almost any circumstance.
I think the silhouette it cuts is perfectly good. Looks solid. I'd rock it.
ah, alack! i wasn't thinking an overall restructure just a reduction a bit
but you give me a lot of confidence! i'll just float it to the tailor when im getting the waist let out. truly thanks 1 billion for the advice @gimp
Yeah a tailor is key, they know the deets. I'm just some internet weirdo
But you look good in it as is so ... :)
