As per Unikeys website, the manufacture of the V2 was changed from KTT to HMX. HMX is able to mold more precisely to create more consistent stem length and housing tolerance. If you have used other HMX switches such as the Macaron or Macchiato, you will understand what their molds are like: The stem and housing tolerance is super high as the stem sits super stable in the housing. There is super minimal stem wobble as the housing really closes up on the stem. However, you will never feel that the housing is squishing the stem too tight to create bottom-out issues.
