how to add Amazon and gog games to steam?
Hello, I know that I can add non steam games to steam. But, when I do that from desktop mode on steam deck, I dont see the games I want to add. What do I do to add non-steam games to steam on steam deck?

Ayou need to bring up the steam virtual keyboard, Steam+X I think
AI'm not sure there's a way to workaround that, maybe you can change the executable of they have multiple executables to use in heroic's settings

Ait's a configuration in heroic in the game's settings, so you should be able to change that in game mode (if the game has different executables)
FSo go into heroic launcher in gaming mode and change the configurions in the settings (not by the launch options)?
AI'm not sure, I don't own that game, if there are multiple executables that you can use that are not listed in the "launch options" selector then you can try to set that configuration, I'm not saying this will work, I'm just suggesting something to try so you should try and see what happens

FI’m confused. The photos that I posted above appear when I go through heroic not steam. I can still launch the games I have in desktop mode or through gaming mode through heroic because I’m able to select the launch option ( as seen in the Alan wake American nightmare picture). My question is that if I use heroic as intended which is to add these games on steam and launch them through steam to get better controller support, I don’t get these pop ups shown in the photo above to launch the games because I’m launching them through steam. Thus, the games won’t launch because the need to chose launch options are it there when I hit “play” on these games on steam. Where in steam or heroic can I bypass this launch questions? I know many games have these launch options but it’s hard to deal with them if steam doesn’t prompt you and just launches anyway.

BGamefiles are stored default under /home/deck/Games/Heroic/<game-name>

BThis alan exe looks good. Selevt this as alternative executable and try in desktop mode if the game starts
BI need to sleep but probably this executable should start the gsme directly without asking what language you wanna use. If the game does not provide your language you can check the Language Setup.ini. Probably you can set your language as a default there.
BIf everything is fine in desktop mode it should work in game mode aswell
