I claimed the Evil Within on Epic Game Store.
I got the game, but I am having issues with way it boots me out from launching the game. I did everything from the protons to protontricks. Nothing. So It would be helpful to how to fix it?

the game seems to work out of the box for me (tested on a desktop computer, not on the steam deck), no tweaks/protontricks seem to be needed

try updating heroic to version 2.9.2, that version includes a fix for some bethesda games, maybe the same issue happens for the evil within
make sure to delete the game prefix

@TimidAlchemist are you using an older Heroic version too? make sure you use Heroic 2.9.2

I updated it to the recent heroic
But the game won’t run on game mode.
It can on desktop mode.
