Is herringbone a good pattern for a wool chore coat?
I'm thinking yes but just want to do a sanity check haha.

Hell yes.
Herringbone is the pattern. It can be any color. But yes, the pattern should work in a chore coat.
Yeps great f/w pattern
Thank you! I pulled the trigger, it's a gently used arpenteur coat. Have tried on a different arpenteur coat in S that was crazy big and this one is XS so i'm hopeful about the sizing (free returns and ship anyway which is nice)
Will be my first chore coat. at some point in the future, hopefully i'll find a really cool cotton (and maybe also cord) one too!
that's a sick coat
this looks really nice :)) def will keep my eyes out for smth similar lol
Thank you!! It cost me $107 incl ship if you're curious about pricing
i wonder if people in europe can find beautiful vintage chore coats at thrifts for cheap
oh that's not as bad as I would have exoected, thanks for the info!!

their current season jackets look really cool btw. some nice utilitarian features too like the wool coats being lined for warmth, and the ripstop ones being part nylon for the rain
