no audio hardware found on Mac
Hey guys, I'm having issues with tModLoader finding my audio interface. I'm rocking Mac. Any chance you guys can help me with resolving this issue?

SI use a Universal Audio Apollo x8p for my interface. I do music stuff on the side(composing/film scoring/recording).
SAh. Do you have option to plug in a different audio device for a quick check if that works?
SMy suspicion is this is another variant of the same audio issues on windows for advanced audio equipment
Sfunny enough, it works if I use the internal speakers on my glossy trashcan Mac Pro.

Short answer; I believe tml works with 2 channel 16 bit 48khz.

SWhat's interesting is that I play the game with my nephews and I use a mic on Input 3 of the interface, and then sum all the monitor audio to inputs 1 and 2 so that my nephews can hear me speaking through Discord through the mic.
Sthat makes so much sense. I'm glad that bugs can be squashed.
SProbably a part of the problem. Less common the use case, less likely it is developed with in mind.

SRight, there is the workaround version, although not sure how compatible that one is anymore
SThat said, the workaround version listed is known to cause other bugs that lead to crashes instead of just no audio, so its usually not shipped

SIts not clear why its breaking since it is an external library called FAudio by FNA-XNA
SSo it’s not possible to roll back the update to FAudio then. That is a bummer since I only have the Apollo x8p. Uff da.

SI will give this a try tomorrow night and report back if it works.
SNo dice. The game wouldn't even execute with the other file used.

SThat fixed it for me. Thanks! The proposed fix worked great for me. Now I can get back to hanging with my nephews through this great game!
