scarf recommendations
I like long flowy (colorful) shit and I'm starting to freeze so I'd love some pointers for specific items/brands
Budget: under 100 but if you have a more expensive one I'd like to see anyways

Drake’s has some sick stuff but it’s like $300 retail. There is a bunch on secondhand sites tho if you were ok with digging around
ya i try to buy secondhand in general
i think it's a normal length but i got a jcrew moon wool scarf that's really nice for $21 final sale
i uh got an aliexpress one and it's confidently disintergating
even though it works for it's intended purpose
I feel like this scarf was a great value. But yeah it's p basic and I'm sure you could find some sick secondhand options online or at a curated vintage shop (or even thrift if you get lucky)
Browse Etsy and thank me later
honestly damn i just realized i didn't even like
look up scarves on uniqlo or something
i was like looking extra hard at beanies and one day i just walked into uniqlo and realized they sold beanies in a bunch of colors
honestly bet
The new Uniqlo x jw Anderson scarf felt nice to me when I was at Uniqlo today
uniqlo is very meh quality, you'll get more bang for your buck with vintage. could easily pick up vintage Pendleton, etc. for sub $100

i did like the fabric on this one when i felt it today and it is colorful
i need to check uniqlo rq this week
but honestly it would be cool to see interesting scarves too
i gotta do more digging
like i was looking at bucket hats before and saw a bunch of cool ass designs
i think in the bk/manhattan vintage scene, you could feel some really cool ones in person
oh actually i didn't realize JW is out now
i also need to check the pants lmao
i wonder what scarves the nyc independent brands sell
honestly my aliexpress one keeps me super toasty
im just worried if i keep wearing it it'll literally pull itself apart
i didn't like the fabric on the non button down flannel. they didn't have much of the collection in the one in roosevelt field. i'd make sure the items you're interested in are in stock at the uniqlo you're going to
it's like frizzling so much now that i've worn it the entire week
i just wanna compare the wide fit pants w/ the pleated wide fit one
if you've tried those
what are the pleated wide fit ones? are they mainline or another collab?
my intrustive thoughts is telling me to get the pink jw scarf
pleated, mainline
fast fashion though :/
honestly fair point but im gonna poke around in uniqlo so i can actually put the colors on
i can't trust myself to visualize
oh wait we're talking abt the pants
@eggtart! are you looking for one piece for ~100ish or multiple for 100 total or multiple for 100 each

Both luxeswap and ownlyluxury regularly auction off scarves and most do pretty poorly, virtually nothing hits $100 unless it's vicuna or guanaco.
What kind of fabrics are you looking for? Shit that will actually keep you warm-warm like various wools?
I got this scarf, which is a nice thick 100% fine-fiber alpaca scarf (63x12"), for the princely sum of $9.99 because nobody bid against me, plus $12 shipping plus CA tax, in perfect condition, a couple months ago, from ownlyluxury on ebay.
I like olulas merino scarves. I got one of their designs (tokyo) in bright, tide pod blue/orange

I love de bonne facture, but is this gonna be any better than the $30 wool scarfs you can get in Scotland itself?
I found a bunch of jos a blank scarves on eBay
There's a part of me that wants to go for the corridor one but maybe if it goes on sale
I got this cashmere scarf last year for like $50 and it's pretty nice. Normally I'd never reccommend Macys https://www.macys.com/shop/product/club-room-mens-100-cashmere-scarf-created-for-macys?ID=3022555&swatchColor=Tan%20Tan%2FBeige
Idk, I just really liked the particular tartan design lol
Maybe you can find that design elsewhere?
So what kind of scarf are you really looking for eggtart?
oh ok yeah lol valid! most of these Scottish plaids have specific names, I believe that pattern is Stewart dress
He's looking for something more colorful!
Like something out of acne studios or marni
Ooh good to know thank you
If corridor scarf goes on sale I'm gonna go for it lmao
I'm gonna prob get one of the jos a banks ones
I'm a bit lost on which color but it prob doesn't matter as long as it's netural
