Impossible to play any games: too slow
Hello there,
I'm trying to play a few simple games ( Out of Line, Yooka Laylee, Deeponia...) that should run on my machine and have "platinum" compatibility on Linux. I start the game, get the Unity or whatever logo, then the game takes at least 1 min to load but the graphics are painfully slow, probably 10x slower than they should, making them unplayable.
I'm on Fedora 38 (fully updated), Heroic GL Flatpak (updated & reinstalled as mentionned in the FAQ), core i5-7500, Nvidia GTX 1070 with proprietary drivers (I had the same issue with the nouveau driver), 16 Go ram. I've tried to install Wine and to start my session with Wayland, Xorg and classic xorg Gnome.
I'd like to stay on Fedora Gnome and make it work
Anything I'm missing? Thanks a lot for your help
