Elder Scrolls Online
Hi , I am trying to the the elder scrolls online up and running on Linux via the heroic Launcher. At this point the elder scrolls launcher / installer fails to start, can someone offer any advice please as I am struggling to translate the log?

Tried with wine and proton , seem to get no where 😦

it's probably just missing a dependency. heroic doesn't necessarily install those for you in the prefix. try clicking on this for the game and then use that to install the stuff in the commonredist folder

You need to install dotnet48 through winetricks
Installing it regularly might cause issues

thanks , it says that it is already installed.
actually i scrubbed the prefix and started again , your suggestion has got me past the firs issue , the launcher now starts. I have a seperate issue but I will open another ticket . Thanks!
