Library Not Scanning For new FIles
I have finally gotten Immich set up and running big thanks to @chk86 and @Alex.
My volumes are now mounted to docker, but after adding the file paths to admin and library settings, I am getting errors in my logs. Not long now!
About to try and delete everything in my Immich volumes (pgdata, tsdata, and model-cache) and redeploy the stack. I tried to add the library a few times, so maybe there is some trash in the back?

What error are you seeing? can you share your system setup andlogs?
Here is the setup:
Can you show screenshot where you add the path for the user, and for the library?

looks good
can you run scan again and see if anything happen?
Back to this again... I guess the IP adresses can change on the containers upon restart?

depends on how you setup your system
its a different issue. I will work on this and report back about the Library...
okay, try to use the stock compose
@senditbro since you have synology firewall active, maybe just disable it till you get up and running and then add the “allow” rule for the docker network? (Sorry! I’m still invested!)
I thought it was the docker ip’s when I added to firewall before. It changed on the last restart. Wondering if there is a way to make docker stay on the same ip during restart. If that makes sense 😅
Yeah the ip can change every time which is annoying with synology’s firewall. And you sure can. And I think you can do it in portainer (create a docker network). I haven’t done it with Immich though, I assume you can, but not confident.
OK, @Alex got it back up with Synology Firewall edits. Here is my latest micro services log. Library still not working.
I dont know what i did, but its doing something now! 🤗 Here is a new log file.
When i click on the media, it doesnt show file still.
Hey it's working! Just be patient, it's generating the thumbnails for everything.
@chk86 thought so! Sweet. I’m going to leave it to it.
