alternative to "Swedish work pants"?
I love the look of these, but Varusteleka only sell them in very small sizes and listings on Etsy etc. have absurdly prices for what these are. any recommendations for a similarly looking pair of pants? either something I can search for on the second hand market or something sold new

The prices on Etsy aren't unusual at all - vintage cotton surplus in common sizes are just gonna be much more expensive than wool, or small sizes 😔

I have but 90€ is a bit much for surplus pants for me
I did buy deadstock french army chinos from them for 30€

They're wool or wool blend
And you can get them in other colors (usually for more)

Yeah they are great and an absolute steal! got them in brown and green! The British Army / Navy imo has the best looking trousers that are still very affordable!
just ordered these 3 (not from Universal Surplus but a German ebay seller) to try out, let's hope they fit well (free return if they don't)
