shadow of war GOG wont load on heroic steam deck
i've tried multiple proton versions, repairing and verifying, updating but nothing helps. log is attached.

stay on wine-latest, delete the prefix folder, leave all settings the same, verify and repair, and then launch the game again

if it fails again, upload a new log using wine-latest

In settings, wine version it only give the options for proton.
Oh I see. I need to download wine configs in the wine manager.
Hmm after doing that upon attempting to launch there was a small window said something about wine updating. Then the game did not launch.
After attempting again it just did the same as before. No launch. Will post a log.

Running great so far. Wish there was a way to increase the text size. Interesting that that only resolution available is 2.5x scaling.
New question, same game. The steam version of this game apparently will have working HDR on OLED deck with no mods. How do I get HDR working with this version through GOG/ Heroic?

Ok thanks that might be useful in the future for me / others. I ended up installing the steam version of the game as it also has more options / the definitive edition was cheap. It’s amazing how much the HDR makes a huge difference.
