Warhammer 40k: Darktide segfaults on launch
I am able to run it successfully on my Deck (Only in Desktop mode) with Proton 8.0-4.
I've tried in X11. Other games (Warframe, Satisfactory, Desynced) work fine.
I'm not quite sure how to really investigate this, and welcome pointers on where to start.
I've got the console log from the game as well as the proton log, but I'm not really sure where I should start asking questions about it - so I'm starting here.
Solution
Game successfully launches from a ext4 partition instead of ntfs, not sure if that's the actual solution but it is the only new thing I did.
Proton, related tools, and compatdata were all symlinked to an ext4 partition previously, but only moving the game itself would work.
