What specifically are you looking at? Pages is free for static usage under a certain number of builds. Functions are in almost all cases significanly cheaper than vercel's offerings

@زين they can’t. the docs are quite confusing. python is not supported since there is no python runtime; and transpiling is limited (when it comes to use pip dependencies). so sad i can go with Cloudflare entirely

I'm not a Cloudflare Employee, so this is just my perspective as an outsider, but it appears that while the Runtime does support Python generally(in terms of features), there wasn't much work done to create/maintain a Python adapter because there wasn't shown much interest. Secondly, a good amount of pip packages appear to fall back on native code, which while you might be able to recompile to WASM, it might be a major headache

for next apps, I am still hesitant about switching to Cloudflare, but for other static apps, I think, I would like to try Cloudflare and embrace it's ecosystem and think it's cheaper than Vercel in many aspects. (love Vercel though)

Going higher than this would require an Enterprise plan and all Enterprise pricing is custom and negotiated with Sales so you would need to reach out and ask Sales. There is also a startups program if you qualify: https://blog.cloudflare.com/startup-program-v2/

Hi there, Nuxt-Security module (https://github.com/Baroshem/nuxt-security) team here. We are trying to understand why some of our users are reporting that CSP blocks their Cloudflare-hosted pages. Our understanding is that Cloudflare is able to parse the CSP Nonce and inject it together with its Bots detection inline script, but this is not what our tests seem to show. DACDAC is 6 different colos so 6 different caches you can hit, usually especially if you're doing a hard refresh or don't already have a connection open.

If your origin is pages, disabling cache entirely isn't a bad idea, Pages already has its own layer of cache and adding extra can cause issues with assets not updating

For now you could just purge your cache under Caching -> Config -> Purge Everything and see if that doesn't help

If I'm deploying exclusively via Wrangler, is there a way to change the production branch? I know it's configured when I first create a project... but then in the UI, as I don't have it connected to GitHub, I can't see the option to change the production branch, unless I'm being really blind.

Yeah neither of those are good for me unfortunately. It's a hugo based website.
What's the point of using any of these services if we can't use them for full fledged websites.

I'm not concerned with the free part. I'd be willing to pay.
But it seems everywhere has either a build time limit, cpu compute limit, or page limit.
Free or Paid there is no way around it without somewhat significant development efforts if you even get it at all.
I'm currently using github actions to build my site and deploying to either netlify or cloudflare pages depending on the language.
Netlify is slow and takes like 20 minutes to upload the site to their cache Then they have the audacity to charge me for it. Meanwhile I can do the same in my testing env in les than a minute.
Cloudflare pages has a surprisingly low file limit.
