can i have a game from steam be played on heroric
im trying to play a game from steam on macos but i cant find online if i can. its telling me to log in with epic games not with steam so im not sure if this is possible

heroic is not a launcher to play steam games, you can't play steam games with this
can you explain exactly what you are trying to do?

I just want to play a few games that i have that are windows only on my mac
I dont wanna pay like 500$ for crossover and i heard it had it built in

in heroic you could try this:
- install crossover from the Wine Manager section in the sidebar
- use the
Add Game button at the top of the library and install Steam
- then launch Steam inside heroic, and use steam there to install the game you want
not sure how good/bad that would work, but it's something that can be done like that, kinda hacky but you can't lose anything by tryingother-emerald•2y ago
Yes, you can install Steam for windows using heroic and play the windows games from it.
If you are on a M1 macOS, install the apple toolkit for the best experience
