Copy game from one computer to another

At home, I have very bad bandwidth (~1MB/s). I bought a 4G/5G router and have subscribed to a data plan: 260GB/month. It's faster (~10MB/s), but installing games as large as 80GB using the data plan is just not feasible, as it would deplete the available data. So I downloaded the game at a friend's place, on my laptop, using their fiber connection. Yesterday I copied the game from my laptop onto my home computer, into the right folders. But when I start the Heroic Games Launcher, it does not detect the game as installed. I copied both the install directory and the prefixes directory to the right places. Is there anything I missed or I should do to have the game properly detected?

open the installation dialog of the game and you have an import button that let's you pick the folder where the game files are located

I tried to import it, though it's already in the installation directory, and it said "game imported", but it's still markes as "not installed". What path should I provide when importing? The installation directory, down to the game folder itself, for example "AlanWake2"? Ah wait I think I didn't pass the install folder before now I'm getting an error
