BTT Filament Senor V2 False Positives

I have the Btt filament sensor V2 set to 3 mm as they suggest but I get lots of false positives even though they show detected, As you can see the filament passes through the sensor then directly into the hotend. So there is no play at all. When it goes into pause the screen shows both runout and encoder detected.

Change it to 30 , then 25, then 20, etc. until you get false pauses then back to the one that doesn’t.

Had it at 2.88 like suggested , higher numbers are needed when using a bowden tube. My sensor is attached to the printhead. I put it at 3.5 to see what happens. What is strange it dosen't give a runout or clog error but jsut pauses printing.

I have the pause on runout commented out but i never had a false positive after i set it to 5 Didn't bother to activate that pause again because 95% of the time i am in the room while the printer is running

After some diagnostics based on which lights are flashing on or off I find that my problem is I'm getting false postive because it thinks there is a extruder clog. This happens during infill printing of thin walls for example. Where there is a lost of fast retractions and movements, When print outline walls or large surfaces I do not get false positives. This is based on these idications fron Biqu. During normal printing: Blue light flashes, red light off. Material shortage: Red light on, blue light on or off. Material blockage (nozzle clog): Blue light on or off, red light off.
