Does the create subscribers endpoint update existing ones?
If the subscriber already exists, its data will get updated?

Or I need to call the PUT endpoint?
Yes it will also update existing. I'm using novu version 0.19

As mentioned by @Stephen , creating new subscriber will show upsert behaviour
