@StalkerNOVA You could try using Comet right now, but it's not straightforward, and it may not work depending on which Galaxy-specific features the game uses.

I don't know if it can be managed on Steamdeck but, from a PC it can be done. You simply install and run Galaxy from the game prefix and start NMS from the GOG launcher or, alternatively, install Galaxy as an Epic game and run it from there. Both ways work on my PC/Mint.

sorry for necroing this, but im experiencing problems with online play
i am using comet, it says i am connected, and there are online discover services as well (though not going to anything)
the space anomaly portal has the monthly featured bases, but aside from that, i am not seeing any other players on the anomaly with multiplayer enabled
also surely there must be a way to do this without getting epic??
at least in the future a built in way to do this without epic or lutris workaround
