Help. every time i open the game it starts frozen.

every time i open the game it starts frozen, when i tab in and out a few times it will switch to the next frame lets say i went from the loading screen to the main menu. i can still hear all game audio like the sound when u hover over buttons etc. but my screen remains frozen. any help is appricated. i have alot of skins that id prefer not to loose.
