All cutscenes so far play with audio, but no video

Proton won't give any useful logs, please use wine-ge instead and send in a new log
Also you might try with Prefer System Libs on

It recommends installing and using GE-Proton7-17 to fix the issue. Not sure how to do this given that it is no longer one of the options available to download in Heroic. Is there a way to try this manually?

the movies dont play because heroic flatpak doesnt have access to the codecs needed
"use system libraries" is the way to fix this, as it will look on the system instead for the video codecs
for me movies play perfectly fine
in fact this game runs great overall no issues

@revengeofzorg - I'm looking for the option and can't find it. Did you manage to fix your issue?

You have to use
Wine-GE-Proton to see that option, NOT Proton-GE-Proton nor GE-Proton
it should be in the game settings > others once you pick Wine-GE-Proton

Well would you look at that! It works. One detail for any other noobs like myself, it doesn't seem that the "preferred system libraries" option was there for "Wine-GE-Latest". I had to explicitly select the latest "Wine-GE-Proton" option in the "Wine Manager", download it, then asscoiate it to the game within the games setting. Just in case this is not clear to anyone, this is all done within the Heroic Game Launcher.
